Bio
Kenny Hotz - "Kenny" Creator / Producer / Director / Writer / Caterer / Witch / Schoolmarm Hotz was conjured from the DNA from Hitler's eyelash by the elders of Zion on the pleasure vessel Exodus. He was grown in a laboratory in Toronto because it was the only city that fed enough fecal matter to sustain his hunger through a series of sewage tunnels. At age seven, was sent to film camp where he violently molested his counselors while directing his first film. Kenny began making crap movies in 1989. Where he learned the art of exploiting the less fortunate by watching his teachers do it to their students. Upon parole from Ryerson University Media Arts Correctional Facility, Hotz traveled the world. In 1991, he covered the Gulf War. "The last time the Jews listened to a Bush they spent 40 years wondering the desert!" His work can currently be seen in the Provincial Archives, various Canadian museums and Spenny’s grandmother’s dungeon. In 1992, when not on acid, Hotz began working on an acclaimed nominated short comedic film about the life and death of a homeless, fouled-mouthed dwarf named “IT DON’T COST NOTHING TO SAY GOOD MORNING. After realizing that short film festivals have shitty food, Hotz then went on to write a few uninspired feature-length comedy scripts and a hack live action episode of TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES for Fox. Later in 1996, while trying to attach a star to his script THE DAWN with his partner Spencer Lice, Hotz came up with the idea to film the process. Shot in Hollywood and "The Toronto International Film Festival" PITCH documents the real life story of Hotz and his 2nd banana, as they naively try to sell their script. "You can see more stars in PITCH than you can with the Hubble." Including Al Pacino, Neil Simon, Roger Ebert, etc. etc. etc. Unlike other Canadian Films it’s actually good and won tons of awards. After finding out his ex-girlfriend was Joni Mitchell's long-lost daughter, Hotz came to Los Angeles where Spenny continued to ride his coat tails, eventually to star in and produce KENNY VS. SPENNY - the most successful show to ever be cancelled on the CBC. After 26 episodes the show moved to Canwest where it produced 5 more seasons. The series is now airing in over 15,347 countries, and has sold format rights in 0.3 additional territories. KENNY VS. SPENNY was nominated for tons of shit and 6 Gemini awards. In 2004, Kenny was nominated for an Emmy for acting like this meant something. Hotz is currently preparing the 7th season of the series for Al Jazeera, and was a guest with Spenny on MTV Cribs, Tom Green, Conan O’ Brian, Jimmy Kimmel, Carson Daly and other shows no other Canadian is kool enough to do. He also produced, directed and starred in his second award-winning feature film titled THE PAPAL CHASE which features cameos by "The Rolling Stones" and Pope John Paul II. Hotz was given an unprecedented $10,000 prize by a jury of mega-stoners when the film won the acclaimed Philip Borsos Award for Best Canadian Feature Film in 2004. Kenny was a writer/consultant on the Emmy award winning animated series SOUTH PARK (no shit!) with pals Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Until he got his own show called “TESTEES” on FX that is…He was recently in Kevins Smith’s “ZACH AND MIRI MAKE A PORNO” having spent 9 days in Pittsburgh for a 30 second cameo. He is currently working on his own show for canwest to be release in January 2011. He is represented by Paradigm in Los Angeles and no matter how many times you ask he can’t help you get your own agent!
